Born Okinowa, Japan, Grew up in Fairbanks Alaska, Bachelors in Urban Studies from Stanford University 93, Internship with the Smithsonian Office of Architectural History, D.C. 93, Masters in Architecture from Rice University 99.  Currently living in Portland, Oregon working as an Architect with BOORA Architects since 2004.  I share a loft condo with Kyla my one year old Australian shepherd.

of the Fairbanks Equinox marathon.

I grew up swimming competitively and playing soccer.  I still try to make it in the pool but lately my main sport is running. I have two marathons under the belt and many shorter races.  My favorite is the Hood to Coast Relay I just finished with 11 other friends (my third). The relay includes 1,000 teams in a 200 mile race from Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood west to Seaside beach. It took us 27 hours with a runner on the road at all times.
